With effects as of 1st January 2024, the Minimum Monthly Wage in force for the Autonomous Region of Madeira is increased to EUR 850.00 (eight hundred and fifty euros).
The Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of Madeira decreed the aforementioned increase with the aim of pursuing economic growth allied to improving the living conditions of the population, in general, and of the employees, in particular, as well as fostering productive entrepreneurship, reducing socio-economic inequalities and seeking conditions of social cohesion through humanising policies.
