Christoph Kietaibl previously held the position of university assistant at the institute for labour and social security law of the University of Vienna; he was appointed assistant professor in June 2010.

He has authored numerous specialised papers and commentaries on labour, social security and private law, is a regular speaker in research and industry circles and teaches labour and social security law at the Universities of Vienna and Klagenfurt.
