Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus is an attorney-at-law and works as Of Counsel for CMS. His advisory focus is on corporate and capital market law as well as business-related civil law. He is also a professor at the Institute for Civil Law, Department of Basic Research at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.

Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus joined the Corporate Transactions and Corporate Litigation teams at CMS in January 2019. He advises leading national and international clients in all areas of corporate, company and civil law. 
Before joining CMS, Kraus worked for many years at the Institute for Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of Vienna. He gained his habilitation there in 2018 in the subjects of corporate and company law and civil law. Before joining CMS, Kraus worked for a well-known boutique law firm in Vienna. 
Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus has written numerous publications, especially on corporate, company and capital market law and business-related civil law. He regularly gives lectures at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and regularly lectures in the above-mentioned fields.
