EUDR Compliance | Deforestation Regulation

The EUDR puts new demands on your supply chain compliance.

The EU Deforestation Regulation stipulates that companies that

  • import certain products into the EU or
  • trade with them or
  • export them

must meet extensive due diligence obligations. Among other things, they must provide information on the traceability of their products back to the exact location where the raw material was produced (geolocation) and use this information to guarantee that their supply chain is deforestation-free. What is more, the relevant legislation of the country of production must also be complied with. If companies fail to implement the requirements, they face high fines and other penalties.

Thanks to our cooperation with LiveEO, we can offer you a fully comprehensive EUDR compliance solution. While LiveEO provides the deforestation assessment based on satellite data and the technical platform, we provide the legal advice which comprises a range of services ranging from supplier checks to risk minimisation measures. We work together with our offices in over 40 countries in Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe to provide you with comprehensive advice – on, for example, the relevant legislation of the country of production and related topics such as KYC processes.
