The WHO recommends that infants should be exclusively breastfed for the first six months of life and continue breastfeeding alongside complementary foods until the age of two. However, studies conducted by the RKI show that only 87% of mothers continue breastfeeding after hospital discharge, and this number decreases to about 13% after six months. By simply attaching the bib/necklace to the infant, the natural breastfeeding relationship between mother and child is maintained, offering the advantage of easy handling, care, and unrestricted mobility.
