Berlin – CMS has advised capiton IV GmbH & Co. Beteiligungs KG on the sale of its shares in the Schwanenmühle group to a family office in Luxembourg. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
A team of CMS lawyers, including the lead partner Dr. Eva Annett Grigoleit, advised capiton on all legal aspects of the transaction. CMS advised capiton on the acquisition of its shares in the Schwanenmühle group in 2012 and since has provided ongoing legal advice to capiton in relation to its stake in the group.
capiton is an independent owner-managed private equity firm that supports established SMEs as an equity capital provider for growth finance and management buy-outs and is a longstanding client of CMS Germany.
The Schwanenmühle group engineers, develops, produces and distributes specialized electro-technical products that are used in power generation, power distribution and in industrial production. Furthermore, the group develops and distributes bus-bar systems for its international customer base.
