Stuttgart – The founder of the DermaZentrum Group, Prof. Viktor Meineke, has sold a majority stake in the group to private equity firm Halder as part of an owner buy-out. The transaction has now been completed. The parties agreed not to disclose the financial details.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Christoph Lächler advised Prof. Viktor Meineke on all legal and tax aspects of the sales process and the reinvestment. The fact that the DermaZentrum Group comprises multiple medical centres made it necessary to pay particular attention to regulatory requirements when structuring the transaction.
Prof. Viktor Meineke established the DermaZentrum Group in Munich in 2018. Since then, he has developed it into a leading provider of medical and aesthetic dermatology in Germany. The DermaZentrum Group now operates at 13 locations, treating more than 80,000 patients each year. Its founder, Prof. Viktor Meineke, will continue to play a major part in shaping the future of the DermaZentrum Group as a shareholder and CEO.
