CMS advises Eqwal Group on the acquisition of Orthopädie-Technik Kurtze GmbH

Hamburg/Silicon Valley – Eqwal Group, a globally operating company in the market for prostheses and orthoses, has acquired Orthopädie-Technik Kurtze GmbH through its German subsidiary Ortho Dev Deutschland GmbH. The transaction is the second acquisition of a medical supply and orthopaedic technology company by Eqwal in Germany in just under three months.

A CMS team led by Dr Eckart Gottschalk advised the buyer comprehensively on the legal due diligence and on drafting and negotiating the transaction documents. The transaction value was not disclosed. CMS also advised Eqwal on the acquisition of Schindler Orthopaedics Group three months ago.
