Stuttgart – A southern German family office has acquired Bahnhofszeile Freiburg, an integrated real estate ensemble with around 32,600 square metres of rental space, from HANNOVER LEASING GmbH & Co. KG. The purchase price is EUR 88 million and the transfer to the Buyer took place at the end of 2025. The property combines office, retail and railway infrastructure space as well as an underground car park with 278 parking spaces.
CMS provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to the family office under the leadership of partner Dr Volker Zerr. The scope of advice included conducting legal and tax due diligence as well as drafting and negotiating the purchase agreement.
