André Frischemeier specialises in advising on financing transactions, restructurings and refinancings, acting for both German and international companies as well as investors and insurance companies, banks and debt funds. He has particular experience advising on corporate, real estate and project financing, including the issuance of bonds. André also regularly represents banks in court.

Prior to his legal training, André trained as a banker. He joined CMS in 2011 and has been a partner since 2020. In 2014/2015, he was seconded to work in the legal department of a development finance provider before working as a senior project manager for a London bank in 2017/2018.
