CMS advises Panasonic Group on integration of automotive systems business in Europe into strategic partnership with Apollo Global Management Inc.
Silicon Valley/Hamburg/Prague, 12.12.2024 - The Panasonic Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Apollo Global Management Inc., a global asset management company, with regard to its automotive systems business (brought together in Panasonic Automotive Systems Co., Ltd.).
Panasonic previously announced on 17 November 2023 that it had signed the relevant underlying agreement. The worldwide transaction was successfully completed on 2 December 2024.
An international CMS team headed by partner Dr Eckart Gottschalk and counsel Dr Charlotte Dobers-Koch advised Panasonic on all legal aspects of the transaction in relation to the European workstream. The focus was on providing corporate law advice together with the CMS law firms in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and on project management.
