Dusseldorf – SEGRO has acquired a 21,000 m² brownfield site in Bornheim-Sechtem, on which Delta Development is building a logistics centre. The logistics centre has an area of 12,000 m² and is being built on a speculative basis. As with other project developments, SEGRO is aiming for DGNB Gold certification. Construction began in March 2025, with completion scheduled for early 2026.

A CMS team headed by lead partner Philipp Schönnenbeck and counsel Dr Julius Städele provided SEGRO with comprehensive legal advice on the transaction. SEGRO is a long-standing CMS client and regularly relies on the team's expertise for national and international projects, most recently in December 2024 with the sale of three logistics properties with a rental area of 129,000 m² to GLP.
