CMS advises shareholders of software development company inmation on the participation of US group Emerson in the company

Berlin - The American group Emerson Electric has acquired an equity interest in inmation Software GmbH. Emerson's participation is intended to further strengthen the cooperation between the companies.

A CMS team provided comprehensive legal advice to the main shareholders of inmation on the transaction. All parties involved have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.

inmation Software GmbH is a Cologne based developer of software solutions and platforms, which are developed in-house and with partners and are used by licensees worldwide, especially in the industrial sector. The company is known for its development of an industrial information management system designed for the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 era. According to its own statements, the company is a technology leader in the field of global real-time information management for large-scale industry.

Emerson, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri (USA), is a global technology and engineering company that provides innovative solutions for customers in industrial, commercial and consumer markets, and is a leader in digital transformation.
