JUVE Awards 2023: CMS recognised as Law Firm of the Year for Antitrust

27/10/2023

Berlin – International commercial law firm CMS Germany was recognised yesterday evening as Law Firm of the Year for Antitrust at the JUVE Awards 2023. The JUVE Awards are regarded as among the most prestigious accolades in the German legal market. On the basis of extensive research within the industry, the JUVE editorial board selects law firms that are notable for their achievements in a particular area of law during the past year and have made strong progress.

Dr Martin Vorsmann, Managing Partner of CMS Germany: “Winning the JUVE award in the Law Firm of the Year for Antitrust category represents special recognition of our commitment to this wide-ranging and challenging area of law. It reflects the steadfast dedication of our highly capable and motivated competition and antitrust team in the interests of our clients. Following the numerous JUVE accolades last year, we view this award as further proof of our legal excellence, strengthening us in our resolve to provide top-level services at all times.”

In recognising CMS as Law Firm of the Year for Antitrust, JUVE’s laudation yesterday evening highlighted the fact that CMS has made sustained progress in developing its antitrust law practice and can cite impressive high-end instructions. “Its strength in distribution-related competition law is revealed particularly in high-profile disputes involving retailers and distributors (…),” and the firm is also ideally positioned for dealing with investment controls and sensitive large-scale projects, with a partnership well versed in European law, the laudation continued.

“We would not have received this award without our clients. Our sincere thanks go to our valued clients and partners who place their trust in us. This success encourages us to further deepen our commitment, thus enabling us to support our clients even better going forward,” Dr Vorsmann added.

The outcome of JUVE’s research and the winners are announced each year at a gala event held at the Old Opera House in Frankfurt.
