Frankfurt/Main – The business operations of BIT Analytical Instruments GmbH in Schwalbach/Taunus have been transferred to the Fried Group, Urbach, today and will be continued by BIT Analytical Solutions GmbH from 1 November 2025. After continuing as a going concern for six months in a challenging market environment and undergoing a competitive bidding process, the company was transferred on 31 October.
From the outset, the CMS Insolvency team endeavoured to ensure that the business and its relationships would continue. "BIT has found a powerful and innovative partner in the Fried Group. The takeover will secure more than 100 jobs at the Schwalbach site and preserve long-standing customer relationships," said insolvency administrator Joachim Kühne.
Fried is a Swabian family business that has more than 45 years of experience in plastics technology and painting and that employs over 250 people. Fried is one of leading companies in this sector. Many global market leaders in the fields of medical and laboratory technology turn to Fried to develop customised solutions using plastics. Andreas Fried said, "With BIT Analytical Solutions GmbH, we are expanding our portfolio for our long-standing customers and offering further highly innovative products."
