Florian Plagemann serves as corporate expert and advises on M&A transactions and start-up financing rounds. His clients include corporates, private equity and venture capital investors as well as start-up and scale-up companies. For internationally operating corporates as well as start-up and scale-up companies Florian acts as trusted advisor and coordinates all their legal matters.

Clients include several financial service providers and fintech companies which Florian advises, amongst others, on regulatory requirements (e.g., BAFIN application/notification procedures). Against this background, Florian led a multi-disciplinary CMS team which advised on a series A financing round by way of offering a tokenised digital convertible note making use of blockchain technology.

Florian is one of the coordinators of the firm’s start up-accelerator CMS equIP.

Florian joined CMS in 2015 and has been a partner since 2023.
