CMS supports Everfield in acquisition of aequitixx and in strengthening its position in the e-invoicing software sector

Frankfurt/Main – Everfield, a long-term investor and growth accelerator for European B2B software companies, has acquired aequitixx, a German provider of cloud-based e-invoicing solutions for large hospitals and clinics.

A CMS team led by partners Dr Jessica Mohaupt-Schneider and Dr Florian Plagemann provided comprehensive legal advice to CMS's long-standing client Everfield on the transaction. As with previous transactions, advanced legal technology leveraging artificial intelligence was utilised, significantly enhancing the efficiency and pace of the process. This was further supported by CMS's dedicated cross-disciplinary in-house team, Smart Operations.

Aequitixx has developed a versatile platform that enables healthcare facilities to automate invoice processing and eliminate manual workflows. Its flagship solution, wi[KI]class, seamlessly integrates with accounting, finance, ERP, facility management and inventory systems. By minimising manual accounting tasks and accelerating invoice processing, aequitixx helps more than 120 hospitals and medical care centres in Germany and across Europe.

Aequitixx joins Everfield's vertical healthcare software alongside MediCloud, BlueBridge Technologies and myKnowledgeMap, expanding Everfield's presence in the DACH region and enabling healthcare and other sectors to benefit from integrated, mission-critical solutions.
