CMS advises Everfield on takeover of Berlin-based software provider selly
Frankfurt am Main – Everfield Germany GmbH has taken over sellysolutions Servicegesellschaft mbH (selly), a Berlin-based provider of procurement software for restaurants, bars and catering services.
A CMS team led jointly by Dr Florian Plagemann and Dr Jessica Mohaupt provided comprehensive assistance to Everfield on the takeover. CMS has been regularly advising Everfield on transactions for many years and is supporting the investor with implementing its European growth strategy.
Everfield is an investor with a long-term focus on European B2B software companies. The company's takeover of selly strengthens its food, hospitality and leisure vertical and further expands its presence in the German food service market.
selly was founded in 2000 and operates the selly Foodservice Cloud, an ordering and procurement platform for professional kitchens spanning multiple suppliers. More than 13,500 users place orders with over 200 major retailers and food producers using the platform.
