Paulina Zoë Schmidt supports SMEs and technology-oriented start-ups with designing legally compliant digital business models and IT infrastructure. One focus of her work in this field is on questions of implementation related to new EU regulations, particularly the Data Act, Cyber Resilience Act and AI Act. In addition she advises on matters regarding IT and data protection law as well as the practical implementation of the GDPR.
In contract law, Paulina Zoë Schmidt assists with drafting and negotiating IT contracts, including project, implementation, licence, software and cloud agreements.
Paulina Zoë Schmidt used to work in the digital law division of a law firm in Munich beginning in 2024. In 2026 she rejoined CMS, where she had previously done her legal and elective placement.
