Steffen Preis advises groups, companies and investors on all aspects of corporate taxation. He specialises in providing assistance with tax matters related to M&A, real estate and private equity transactions as well as tax planning and advising on restructurings and reorganisations. Steffen Preis also has particular expertise in the area of international tax law, where clients often rely on his knowledge in matters of withholding tax relief and the tax substance requirements to be observed in this respect.
Steffen Preis has been a lawyer at CMS since 2021. He was also appointed as a certified tax advisor in 2025.
