Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises advised by CMS Francis Lefebvre Lyon Avocats

04/09/2018

CMS Francis Lefebvre Lyon Avocats recently facilitated the legal restructuring of local organisations, especially associations, impacted by the territorial reform.

The creation of the new AUVERGNE-RHONE-ALPES Region and the reorganisation brought about by the NOTRÉ Law of the economic responsibilities of local authorities has led their partners to undertake restructuring measures within the new regional framework.

In an initial step, the Agence Régionale de Développement et d’Innovation de Rhône-Alpes (Rhône-Alpes Regional Development and Innovation Agency – ARDI) and the Agence Régionale de Développement Economique d’Auvergne (Auvergne Regional Agency for Economic Development – ARDE), merged to form AUVERGNE-RHONE-ALPES ENTREPRISES. The new organisation assists the Region in the implementation of its economic missions, including the implementation of the new regional plan for economic development, innovation and internationalisation (SRDEII).

Following this, other departmental economic development entities (economic expansion committees; regional centres for research, innovation and technology transfer; and economic development agencies) joined Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises, which acquired eight entities as provided for by the law of 31 July 2014 on the social and solidarity economy.

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises agency is now the main contact for businesses and government bodies in the region.

The associations ARDI and ARDE, and subsequently, the association AUVERGNE-RHONE-ALPES ENTREPRISES were assisted by CMS Francis Lefebvre Lyon Avocats. The team consisted of:
