Why did you choose CMS?
I jumped at the chance to work with and learn from the best. I joined back in 2010 when the Scottish legal market looked very different. Dundas & Wilson (as we were called then before the 2014 merger with CMS) was the leading “big 4” Scottish firm at the time.
Which three words best describe life at CMS?
Supportive, dynamic, and driven.
What has been the highlight of your career at CMS so far?
I spent my early years at CMS working on the £1bn St James Quarter redevelopment in Edinburgh. I’m so proud to have been part of something that’s going to contribute to positive change by improving Edinburgh city centre so much.
More recently, I’ve been working on a game-changing real estate platform that’s going to make a lot of people’s working days so much easier to manage.
How has CMS helped with your career development?
CMS has given me a top level learning environment, supported my ambitions, and provided me with opportunities to further my experience. So I’m ready to play my part in the firm’s future.
