Celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth at CMS
The CMS embRACE Network is delighted to invite you to “A Seat at the Table”, a panel event in celebration of Black History Month where we will be hearing from Black women in the legal industry about their experiences in the profession.
CMS Associate Abigail Atoyebi and CMS Trainee Paige Makun are excited to be moderating the discussion with an exceptional panel of speakers including:
- Bianca Stewart - Head of Legal, Motorway
- Christel Kayibi - Senior Legal and Business Affairs Manager
- Tanya Francis - Partner, CMS
- Buky Alakija - Senior Associate, CMS
Each of the speakers will share their experience of being a Black woman in the legal industry, including the challenges they have faced and tips for succeeding in the profession and beyond.
Following the discussion there will be a reception with refreshments and an African and Caribbean inspired buffet.
