Risk Essentials: Commercial Contracts - Set yourself up for success: Getting contract fundamentals right from the outset

Many contract disputes could be avoided if the parties got certain fundamentals right at the outset of the relationship. In this session, our speakers will take a close look at some of the issues that come up at the start of contract relationships, looking both at complex bespoke contracts and contracts based on standard form terms and conditions:

• The What: Will Anderson, Partner, and Charlotte Edgar, Associate, from our Disputes team, will consider the latest case law on the battle of the forms, how to determine whose terms will prevail in the event of a conflict, and how to avoid such battles arising.
