FCA has reported on further operations with the Metropolitan Police and HMRC to disrupt peer-to-peer crypto trading in three London locations.
FCA: FS26/2: Supporting SME access to finance
FCA reports that it has found no evidence that its regulation is a major barrier to SME access to finance, but emphasises it will focus its next steps on the following: monitoring industry work to explore whether digital verification could reduce duplication in customer checks, while maintaining effective financial crime controls; delivering a proportionate regime as part of CCA reform, and enabling open finance to develop by prioritising high-impact use cases, including SME lending and consumer mortgages.
