Continual innovation requires continual learning. Through the CMS equIP programme we support a hand-picked group of startups that have the potential to grow into global technology businesses. This also enhances our insight into the technology that these businesses are developing – technology that, in some cases, we can deploy ourselves.
equIP draws on our deep understanding of the legal support and financing know-how that tech startups need. It offers its members legal advice at special rates, as well as a range of fixed-fee services, a dedicated relationship manager, access to exclusive events and training, promotion and marketing, and introductions to other service providers. It also supports good governance and compliance practices.
Since equIP began in 2015, many of its members have attracted significant investment from key players in the market, including Sonalytic, the audio detection company acquired by Spotify, and AI expert RAVN Systems, which was bought by iManage.
