CMS advises on the sale of a 170 MW onshore windfarm portfolio

11/01/2023

International law firm CMS has advised a syndicate of international commercial banks as creditors in relation to the sale of a 170 MW onshore windfarm portfolio held by Nordic Renewable Power Holding to Vauban Infrastructure Partners (“Vauban”).

The deal marks Vauban’s first investment in the wind power sector. The three wind farms are strategically located in the NO2 and SE3 Nord Pool zones, which are considered favourable from a price and electricity demand standpoint.

CMS Energy Finance Partner Nicholas Ross-McCall comments: “We are delighted to have assisted the creditors on the transfer of this now operational portfolio of wind assets, further evidencing our market leading renewable energy credentials in the Nordics”.

The CMS team was led by Energy Finance Partner Nicholas Ross-McCall, and included Jack Corr and Fanny Fecskovics (Finance).
