CMS has been crowned ‘Energy, Mining & Utilities Law Firm of the Year’ at the 2018 Mergermarket Middle East M&A Awards.
Recognising excellence in M&A advisory in the Middle East, the annual awards showcase dealmaking from the past year. The CMS Energy team were credited as having had a standout year, advising on a raft of high profile deals across the region. These include advising Union Properties PJSC on the sale of its entire 50% stake in district cooling services provider Emicool to Dubai Investments PJSC for AED500m; and advising Arjun Infrastructure Partners on its acquisition of Enviromena, a leading solar and rooftop solar EPC and O&M contractor with projects across nine jurisdictions in the Middle East.
