International law firm CMS has been named CEE Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Europe Awards, where CMS has once again been recognised as the leading law firm in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Chambers Europe Awards, presented annually by British specialist publisher Chambers and Partners, offer an insight into which law firms have taken a leading position. They reflect achievements made over the last 12 months, identifying outstanding performances and great client successes.
CMS last won this award in 2016, and this most recent win recognises the firm’s excellent work across its CEE offices.
"Given our firm's focus and our extensive activity in CEE, the category is of particular significance for us," says Gregor Famira, CMS Partner and CEE Coordinator, CMS RRH. "Thank you to all colleagues whose efforts have brought us this great recognition!”
“We are delighted that CMS has once again been recognised by Chambers Europe as CEE’s leading law firm,” comments Dóra Petrányi, CEE Managing Director, CMS CMNO. “With more than 30 years of experience advising clients across the region, CMS has firmly established itself as the go-to firm for complex, cross-border work and our teams are renowned for their ability to operate seamlessly across all our offices. Many thanks to everyone who helped us achieve this fantastic recognition, and to our clients for their ongoing support.”
A total of six renowned law firms were nominated in the CEE Law Firm of the Year category. For this category, in addition to local and international expertise, smooth cross-border cooperation between partner firms is of considerable importance.
CMS has a total of 17 offices in the CEE/SEE region.
