CMS has been named Energy Team of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2016, held in London.
CMS was recognised for its role advising UK Power Networks, the largest Distribution Network Operator group in the UK, on two appeals brought before the Competition and Markets Authority (“CMA”) in relation to the RIIO-ED1 price control. These mark the first ever price control appeals brought before the CMA, and firmly position CMS at the forefront of the development of the UK electricity industry.
