New Senior Partner at CMS Cameron McKenna

Richard Price has been appointed Senior Partner of CMS Cameron McKenna.

He takes up the four-year post on 1 May 2002 when Bill Shelford retires from the role after 11 years, as announced on 1 February 2002.

Richard Price, who became a partner in 1984, is a senior partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the firm's Partnership Council. He is an acknowledged leader in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and project finance.

Richard will combine his role as a partner in the Corporate Department with his new responsibilities as Senior Partner.

Commenting on his appointment, he said: "I am delighted to have been chosen for this challenging role, and look forward to what will undoubtedly be four exciting years at CMS Cameron McKenna as the firm continues its successful expansion. I would also like to pay tribute to Bill Shelford who has done an outstanding job as Senior Partner for the last 11 years."
