Adam is a Senior Associate in the Energy & Infrastructure team based in Aberdeen with over 11 years’ experience specialising in the oil & gas sector. He joined CMS in 2022 and focusses on E&I project work, with particular expertise in transportation, processing and product sales agreements.

Adam has significant in-house experience, having previously worked for North Sea operators Ithaca Energy and TotalEnergies. He has also been on long term secondments at each of bp, EnQuest and Shell, supporting clients on their North Sea upstream and supply chain needs.

  • EnQuest in relation to the operation and potential future use of its onshore Sullom Voe Terminal, Shetland.
  • Equinor in relation to the USD$434M divestment of its Corrib gas field, Ireland.
  • A CMS client in relation to contract management for the approval of expenditure under an operating agreement, UK.
  • A CMS client in relation to claims of force majeure relating to drilling contracts, UK.
  • Shell in relation to ongoing operations at its Shearwater offshore production hub, UK.
