Annabel is an Associate in the Real Estate Disputes team in London having qualified into the team following the completion of her training contract at CMS in 2021. Annabel advises on a broad range of contentious property matters for commercial clients.

In particular, Annabel works with commercial landlords and developer clients to resolve disputes and unlock development constraints, including rights of light. Annabel also has experience acting for commercial tenants in high-value contentious lease renewals.

Annabel’s practice includes advising on dilapidations, forfeiture, break options, insolvency, and a wide range of commercial landlord and tenant disputes.

Annabel is also a member of the Junior Property Litigation Association Committee.

  • Real estate developer on rights of light in relation to a high-value redevelopment project in Central London. 
  • Energy operator and commercial tenant on a complex and high-value lease renewal claim. 
  • Real estate investment manager on the recovery of circa GBP 2.5m debt from a former UK tenant and Italian guarantor. 
  • Pro-bono client on a successful adverse possession application.
