Charles is a Trainee Patent Attorney with a General Engineering degree, and a deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering principles.
Charles was awarded in his degree for coming top of his year in both 1st and 3rd years. His thesis focused on a novel method for testing high and ultra-high cycle fatigue in Zirconium for use in nuclear power stations and was nominated for an award for best written thesis.
Prior to joining CMS, Charles’ practical experiences spanned hospital patient data networks, medical engineering research, and novel fatigue testing methods, He also has patent experience across topics including analogue electrical circuits, telecommunications, software, UAVs and more.
