Doug Land is a partner in our Corporate group specialising in energy and infrastructure acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and reorganisations.

Doug has been focused on advising corporates and financial sponsors in the energy and infrastructure sectors for nearly 25 years.  A significant amount of this work has been in the clean energy sector and Doug has advised on numerous transactions and joint ventures in respect of offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, electric vehicle charging, energy storage and demand side response.  Across the energy sector more generally, Doug has advised on transactions involving gas transmission and storage, gas distribution, electricity distribution, gas peakers, smart metering, IGTs and water and across the infrastructure sector more generally, Doug has advised on transactions involving telecoms, ferries, streetlighting, aerospace and defence.

Doug is part of the CMS Energy and Climate Change practice, which has more than 450 energy and climate change lawyers, including over 100 partners.  The practice works across 75 offices and builds on 40 years of experience advising on power, oil & gas and renewables.
