She is dual qualified in Scotland and England & Wales and has experience acting for both corporate and individual clients in contentious matters, with a particular focus on strategically sensitive and high‑profile disputes.
Fiona’s practice covers all stages of litigation and includes advising on jurisdictional challenges, governing law issues, and conflict of laws questions arising in cross‑border litigation. She has a particular interest in media and reputation management, advising on issues including contempt, defamation, privacy, misuse of private information, and related freedom of expression considerations. Fiona is especially interested in the intersection between media law, technology, and international litigation, including the challenges posed by global publication and digital platforms.
