Georgia has experience drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements, including cloud services and SaaS arrangements, platform and digital product terms, outsourcing and procurement agreements. She also has experience supporting organisations on network infrastructure projects, advising on commercial contracting, regulatory considerations and technology deployment across fibre, connectivity and telecoms environments. She acts for customers and suppliers across sectors such as technology, retail, telecommunications and financial services.
Georgia also advises clients on complex data protection matters, including international transfers, data processing agreements, regulatory compliance and data breach incident response. She regularly supports clients on the practical implementation of privacy and data strategies within fast paced and highly regulated environments.
Before joining CMS, Georgia qualified in New Zealand at a major commercial law firm and worked in the in house privacy team of a bank, giving her practical experience of operational risk, governance and the realities of implementing compliance programmes within large organisations.
