Jack is an associate in the Energy & Infrastructure Practice Group at CMS where he advises clients on a broad range of regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters in the energy sector. He represents utilities, independent power producers, renewable energy developers, and many other stakeholders in navigating the complex legal landscape of the energy industry.

Jack has extensive experience drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements, EPC and LTSA agreements, and other commercial contracts essential to energy projects. His practice also includes advising on connection reform, project development, permitting, and environmental compliance for both traditional and renewable energy projects.

Jack’s proactive, pragmatic and commercial approach ensures clients achieve their business objectives in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

  • Global tech companies on UK related energy regulatory issues (Connection Reform, Gate 2, REMA and Reformed National Pricing proposals).
  • PPAs and Asset Management Agreement for renewable developers across Europe.
  • Clients on LT2029 tender submissions.
  • Clients on the Heat Networks (Market Framework) (Great Britain) Regulations 2025.
  • Energy regulatory advice in relation to Blackrock's USD 3bn acquisition of Global Infrastructure Partners.
