Joe is a Senior Associate in the CMS construction team. He acts mainly for developer, contractor and investor clients, advising on all aspects of their construction projects.

Joe’s current work includes helping clients to navigate the difficulties of the Building Safety Act and associated legislation, helping with the delivery of fast-paced data centre projects and advising on projects with market-leading sustainability credentials.

Joe is experienced in drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction contracts as well as development agreements, agreements for lease, funding agreements and other associated contracts.

  • GPE on the development, letting and sale of various central London developments.
  • A data centre developer client in relation to the development of data centres in the UK and internationally.
  • An investor client in relation to the forward purchase of a portfolio of residential properties including Higher-Risk Buildings.
  • Portman Estate on the redevelopment of several Higher-Risk Buildings in central London.
  • The Conle Family on a major redevelopment scheme in London.
