Jude AlHajjaj is an Associate in the Energy Project Finance Team in Edinburgh, specialising in renewable projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage. Jude advises a diverse clientele, including lenders, developers, and consultants in project development, project finance and acquisitions. 

Jude provides counsel on a range of agreements including grid connection offers, EPC contracts, supply agreements, offtake agreements, operation & maintenance and management agreements. 

Jude has also completed a secondment with SSE.

  • Constantine Energy Storage on the development and financing of a portfolio of battery storage projects consisting of nine battery projects across the UK. Review of BESS Supply, O&M, grid, Capacity Market and management agreements. 
  • A Borrower on the bankability of the key project documents of a 40MW battery storage development project in preparation for project financing.  
  • Close Leasing Limited on the key project documents in relation to a project financing of a 8MW solar project. 
  • Triodos Bank UK on the key project documents in relation to a project financing of a 34MW solar project and carrying out lender due diligence.
  • Close Leasing Limited on the key project documents in relation to a project financing of an onshore wind farm.
  • A Borrower on the bankability of the key project documents of a co-located battery storage and solar development project in preparation for project financing.
  • A Lender on the project financing of a portfolio of onshore wind turbines.
  • A Lender on the key project documents in relation to a project financing of a 40MW standalone BESS project located in Scotland.

  • 2021 - LLB (Hons) with options in Business Management, University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen.
