Kelly specialises in dispute resolution, particularly involving IP rich businesses. Working with those in the Life Science and Consumer Products sectors, Kelly supports businesses with a strong technology focus and which operate in the beauty, wellness, longevity, or pharmaceutical divisions. She advises on the full lifecycle of a business, ranging from contracts through to trade mark and design portfolios and is known for her commercial and solutions driven approach. She understands that IP plays an integral part of building a robust portfolio for a business, not just for enforcement purposes, but creating a business in which others want to invest.

Dual qualified as a Solicitor and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, Kelly is also a Fellow and Immediate Past President of The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorney’s (“CITMA”), a member of the Pharmaceutical Trade Mark Group (“PTMG”) and a Patron of the British Beauty Council. In her role as IPP, Kelly chair’s CITMA’s Executive Board and continues to sit as a member of Council. The role gives practical insight and access to key UK stakeholders including those at the UK IPO and she works with regularly with government and the Department of Business & Trade (DBT) on international and bi-lateral treaties.
