Konrad is a Senior Associate within the Corporate Transactions team of CMS London. The primary focus of Konrad’s work relates to private M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate finance, restructurings and corporate governance with particular focus on the Energy and Infrastructure sectors. Konrad acts for infrastructure funds, financial institutions, as well as listed companies and E&P operators in the energy industry.

Konrad has completed secondments to ConocoPhillips and Equinor where he supported the in-house legal teams.

  • RailPen on its 50% debt and equity investment into AGR Power.
  • Cube Green Energy on its acquisition of a pan-European portfolio of solar and onshore wind assets across the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden from Encavis AG.
  • Octopus Energy on its agreement to acquire 12.5% interest in the Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm from Danish pension funds.
  • A consortium comprised of The Renewables Infrastructure Group and Equitix on its agreement to acquire a 12.5% interest in the Hornsea One Offshore Wind Farm from Global Infrastructure Partners.
  • Equinor on its swap transaction with bp in the US involving Empire and Beacon offshore wind projects off the coast of Long Island, New York.
  • Munich Re on its acquisition of a 50% interest in the special purpose vehicle owning Fen Court in the City of London from, and a 50/50 joint venture with, Generali Real Estate.
  • Shinhan Asset Management on their acquisition of several pre-construction BESS projects in the UK.
  • InfraCo Africa on its investment in Kudura Power East Africa Limited in Kenya.
  • Centrica plc, trading as British Gas, on their acquisition of energy supply customers of Robin Hood Energy Limited.
  • Atlantis Holdings and AXA Investment Managers-Real Assets in relation to the acquisition of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP’s 33.33% stake in Acciona Energia Internacional, S.A. for €445m and partial sale of 13.33% stake to ACCIONA.
  • Green Investment Group on their disposal of wind farm assets in Poland to Equitix.
  • Hunting Energy Holdings on their $38m acquisition of Scottish subsea technology firm, Enpro Subsea Limited.
  • Consortium of lenders to Rock Rail on their £400m financing of rolling stock for the East Midlands Railway and £315m funding of rolling stock for First Trenitalia West Coast Rail Limited.
  • Equitix on the acquisition of the Green Highlands Renewables portfolio of hydro projects in Scotland, the Nevis Range hydro project and the Kinlochleven hydro-electric power station.
  • ConocoPhillips on £1.3bn disposal of their interest in the West of Shetland Clair field in the North Sea to bp.
  • bp on their $170m acquisition of Chargemaster (now bp pulse).
