Marek is a trainee patent attorney in the IP department.

Prior to joining CMS Marek studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Dundee, focusing on molecular biology and targeted protein degradation techniques. Marek also spent a year on an industrial placement at AstraZeneca in Gothenburg, where he explored the use of cell-free protein expression for gene editing applications.
