Paul is an Associate Solicitor in the Defendant Personal Injury team at CMS UK, based in Sheffield.

He graduated with higher second class honours in Law LLB from the University of Leeds in 2014.

Paul joined the team in 2016 as a Paralegal. He completed the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) in May 2024 and commenced an Associate position in October 2024. Paul specialises in respiratory disease claims, specifically those caused by exposure to coal mine dust, silica and/or asbestos. Many of those claims are high value and involve complex medical causation and multi-jurisdictional issues.

He also play a central role in handling claims brought via one of the UK's largest industrial disease compensation schemes and other large-scale group litigation. He also has experience of acting for financial institutions, self-insureds, insurance companies and claims involving litigants in person and  has acted for medical defence organisations in connection with clinical negligence claims.
