Peter has over 30 years of international oil and gas experience and acts for companies, governments and NOCs on upstream amd midstream matters. He is a former general counsel of Centrica Energy, director of British Gas Trading Limited, and general counsel of Kosmos Energy LNG Marketing.
Peter is the emeritus editor of the Journal of World Energy Law and Business, the official journal of the AIEN, a former editor of the International Energy Law Review, and a former chairman of the IBA’s oil and gas law committee. Peter lectures at several universities on oil and gas matters, is a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Law at Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires, and has written over a dozen energy sector textbooks, including leading texts on upstream petroleum concessions, joint operating agreements, and gas and LNG sales and transportation arrangements.
