Rebecca is a Partner in the London Real Estate team, with over 16 years’ experience in commercial property. Rebecca chairs the CMS Living sub-sector pillar. She has a particular focus on acquisitions, development and structuring for developers and investors, including public bodies, in the mixed-use and living sectors. Rebecca has acted on numerous affordable housing and BtR forward fundings for institutional funds. Rebecca also acts for investors in the acquisition and disposal of prime retail and office assets and on both the landlord and tenant side on office and retail transactions for institutional landlords and retailers.

Rebecca is named as a key lawyer in Commercial property: development, Legal 500 2025.

Rebecca takes an active role with gender and family initiatives, she is co-chair of the CMS Families Network and is proud to have been awarded “Returner of the Year” at the inaugural Inspiring Women in Property awards 2023.

  • On forward fundings and forward commitments for the leading financial investor in single family housing portfolios from SME and PLC housebuilders.
  • LSQ on the forward funding of an affordable block at Stratford to a Registered Provider.
  • A developer on the corporate acquisition of stabilised multi-family higher risk residential buildings in London. 
  • On the forward funding of an affordable residential-led scheme at Wood Wharf, Canary Wharf.
  • Lead client relationship partner for the Here East estate on pre-lets at the innovation and technology campus at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford. 
  • A life-science client on their place-based portfolio, which is at the leading edges of major knowledge economies like Oxford and London.
  • A large developer in its strategic partnership with a UK retailer for the mixed-use development of an 18-acre site in London.
