Scott is an Associate in the Employment team. He has experience providing advice and support on a range of employment matters for clients operating across a variety of sectors. He has experience in providing assistance to clients in respect of day-to-day employment issues including redundancies, termination of employment and the resolution of disputes, reviewing and drafting contractual documents, and preparing and implementing policies and procedures.

Scott has assisted with the employment aspects of a number of corporate transactions, and has supported on international employment projects by coordinating advice across various jurisdictions in respect of a wide range of legal and commercial issues. He also has experience of supporting clients with their response to data subject access requests from their employees. 

Relevant experience

  • Assisting a client in the technology sector respond to a data subject access request (DSAR) by reviewing sensitive employee data and preparing the information required to be provided to the employee in response.
  • Supporting a growth capital investment company with the employment aspects of their £9.4m investment into a business in the medical sector, including conducting due diligence, drafting new contracts of employment for senior management and providing employment support on transactional documents.
  • Assisting a financial services client with a multi-jurisdictional horizon scanning report, coordinating and analysing employment law developments across multiple jurisdictions to ensure compliance and aid with strategic planning.
