Seon-Hee Chang is a UK and European patent attorney. She specialises in computer related inventions and has experience in mechanical devices, medical devices, UI applications, telecommunications and electronic devices. She previously worked in the automotive industry in areas relating to chassis, electrical systems, telematics, infotainment systems, advance driver assistance system and autonomous driving.

Seon-Hee has worked in a technology transfer company, commercialising innovations and obtaining grants. She has experience in advising on enforcement of IP rights and freedom to operate. She uses her previous experience to understand clients’ requirements, and aid in identifying inventions, filing and prosecuting applications in many jurisdictions including the Europe, US, China and Japan.

  • Microsoft on prosecuting patent applications.
  • Working in house at an automotive company on harvesting, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, taking the invention from cradle to grave.
  • Working at a Technology Transfer Company on commercialisation of innovations.
  • Working with a Korean Corporation on prosecuting patent applications and assisting in their court case.
