Sophie Skidmore is a Part-Qualified Patent Attorney in the Life Sciences IP department and is involved in the prosecution and drafting of patent applications. She has worked on a number of technologies including small molecules, antibodies, drug delivery systems and drug discovery platforms.

Sophie did her PhD in Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge, with a focus on the use of stem cells to model and treat Parkinson’s disease. Prior to this she completed her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees at the University of Liverpool in Translational medicine, with an emphasis on stem cell biology and Pharmacology.

Sophie has been named a ‘Key Lawyer’ in Legal 500.
