Stewart is an Associate in the Energy and Infrastructure team in Aberdeen. He has experience in energy law in project developments, M&A transactions and supply chain matters. This experience includes undertaking client dedicated roles within TAQA, advising on both upstream and supply chain matters.

Relevant experience

Repsol on the transfer of Repsol’s interests in various operated assets, including Blane and Enoch, to Bridge Petroleum.
bp on various matters, including:
- the restructuring of its interests in the Foinaven Field, the East Foinaven Field and the West of Shetland Pipeline System;
- the acquisition of interests in the Madoes and Mirren fields and the ETAP Central Processing Facility from Shell;
- the acquisition of DNO’s interests in the East Foinaven Field and the West of Shetland Pipeline System;
- the disposal of interests in the Capercaillie discovery to Shell; and
- the acquisition of RockRose Energy’s interests in the Foinaven and East Foinaven fields.
TAQA on the forfeiture and transfer of Fujairah Oil & Gas’s interests in the Brae fields to TAQA Bratani, NEO Energy and Spirit (the first such process in the UK).
